Are you the driven, customer-oriented professional we are looking for? Join our ROAD Logistics department and an Area Sales Manager!
As an Area Sales Manager, you are responsible to manage and grow your customer portfolio within your designated geographical area. The KN Road organization in Belgium is part of a bigger KN Benelux Road Network where we have locally more than 90 trailers at the ready for both national and international transport. At our site in Kampenhout, centrally located in Belgium, we focus on Groupage, LTL, and FTL shipments facilitated by our own warehousing and cross-docking facilities. You will be part of a small but highly engaged Sales Team and will report directly to the Branch Manager.
- You manage the commercial relations with existing customers within the personal customer portfolio and identify further needs and growth potential;
- You actively acquire new customers and convince them of our extensive product portfolio;
- You work out offers, create customer presentations and take care of the necessary documentation;
- When a customer is won, you take care of customer onboarding and the implementation of the new business;
- In your role it is essential to actively collaborate with your colleagues of the different operational departments and planners to achieve company goals.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Proven sales experience, preferably within a road logistics environment;
- Experience in dealing with small, medium and large multinational business;
- Native French and Fluent in English. Dutch is an asset;
- Commercial Mindset with strong negotiating skills;
- Service minded, excellent customer service feeling;
- Excellent communication skill;
- Good organization, coordination and multi-tasking skills;
- In possession of a valid driver’s license.
