As part of its growth and development, CMA CGM Belgium is looking for a Sales Support Officer to join its Sales Support team within the Commercial department.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Support Officer together with the team provides accurate and timely administrative support to Account Managers and Sales Managers for a portfolio of customers. In addition Sales Support acts as a liaison between the customer, sales and various cross-functional departments on operational issues. All in line with the Premium/Advanced/Standard/Special segmentation as per Group approach.
The key responsibilities of the Sales Support Officer are divided as such:
Support
- Provides administrative and sales support to the Account Manager and/or Sales Manager.
- Support on daily issues and questions
- Follow up on workflow and NVR list
- Participation with weekly sales meetings
- Daily use of NOVA and AQUA systems
- Contribute to dispute resolution with pricers and back-offices
- Provide assistance on root cause analysis
Quotation management:
- Handle all quotation requests from customers (and account managers)
- Follow-up on quotations
- Accurate filing of quotations, including FMC filings
- Provide feedback to the Trade
- Present business cases to HO and Trade
Value Added Services:
- Promotion of group services and non-maritime products such as e-Commerce, CMACGM+, Intermodal and CEVA cross selling
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- First experience in similar position within the shipping/logistic industry.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a preference.
- Knowledge of MS Office software, CRM software and relevant CMA-CGM systems.
- Good communication skills (oral & written)
