Who are we looking for? Sales executives are responsible for a smaller portfolio of existing customers. They are the main point of contact of their customers and are responsible to answer customer requests of un-allocated customers reaching out directly to Lineas (their segment). Sales executives ensure customer satisfaction in close collaboration with customer care and supply chain team and grow the business with these customers. Being Sales Executive is a first step towards a Sales Management position. Starting with a small portfolio of existing customers will enable the Sales Executive to discover and get acquainted to the sales environment and get trained for further sales roles, including prospection and management of larger or more strategic customers.

What are your duties?

  • Responsible for sales with existing and newly acquired customers
  • Manage own smaller portfolio of existing and newly acquired customers and processes price requests
    • Be the commercial point of contact between the company and the customers
      • Manages interpersonal relations with the customer to reach results
      • Daily contacts with customers to ensure absolute customer satisfaction
    • Deliver commercial quotations to our customers and follow them up
    • Follow up current affairs (turnover, commitments, general cooperation)
    • Medium degree of process knowledge
    • Implements actions based on concrete expected deliverables
    • Expand existing customers: business reviews
    • Visit existing customers
    • (Re) negotiate contracts with customers (incl.rates, volumes, obligations, …)
  • Perform limited pro-active prospecting with smaller customers.
  • Gather regional customer info (from local sales people): define customer needs & adjust capacity
  • Provide support in the contract mechanization process (in a transition phase until automation from new Salesforce system).


What is your profile?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (logistics is a plus)
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French. Optionally German is a plus
  • Full knowledge of MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Strong in communication, flexibility and stress resistance
  • Real team player, eager to learn
  • Full knowledge of MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM CP is a plus
